Best Raccoon Pose Ever

Raccoons are naturally very inquisitive and are expert problem solvers.

Raccoons' curiosity helps them thrive in urban environments. Able to access food and areas other animals cannot.

Raccoons have thumbs and the brains of a toddler, making them a worthy adversary.

Raccoon "baby season" starts in March, typically, and is mostly over by late July. The start is somewhat winter weather dependent and late litters happen.

Most raccoon's we remove/evict/trap are because they are in people's roofs/attics. Although raccoons cause all sorts of mischief.

Raccoon missing front paw. Raccoons are sturdy and adaptable. Their brains, group communication and the presence of humans for food sources call allow them to do well even after losing a limb.

Attempts are made to reunite orphans and children with their mothers whenever possible.
Truely orphaned/abandoned raccoons are taken to Tucson Wildlife Center to grow up amongst other raccoons.
When you're given the opportunity to photograph baby raccoons, you take it.
Raccoon "kids" have an almost alien like, trilling call. This is a call for food, attention or to locate its siblings.

Soffits on tile roofed houses are often left open for ventilation. This makes them the first thing I check during wildlife inspections.
